Ilium Pubis Ischium Femur Tibia Fibula Metatarsal Phalanx Ungual
The pelvic girdle of Triceratops, equivalent to our legs and hips, consists of a series of large bones that tie the legs to the axial skeleton and the bones that extend out as the hind legs and feet, terminating in smaller bones of the feet. You may pass your mouse over the girdle to learn the names of the various bones or click on one to enter the Museum collection to see examples of that particular bone. If it is a bone that we have not found yet, you will be taken to the Triceratops Museum where you may explore all of the Triceratops bones. If you visit the Museum, use your "Back" arrow on the browser window to return to this page. Click here to go back to the Triceratops skeleton.
